Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist
Location: Gresham, OR
Compensation: $60,000-$71,000 DOE + Monthly Bonus
About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the material handling industry, is seeking an Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist to join their team in Gresham, Oregon.
This is not a cold-calling sales position. The primary focus of this role is supporting customers, dealers, and Territory Managers through product recommendations, quoting, order management, and customer support. The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers find solutions, building strong relationships, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, dealers, and Territory Managers
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Recommend products and attachment solutions based on customer applications and operational needs
- Prepare quotes and provide product information
- Process customer orders and verify order accuracy
- Coordinate with manufacturing and internal departments to support delivery timelines
- Communicate order status, shipment updates, and delivery information
- Resolve customer concerns and provide timely, professional solutions
- Support account management activities and ongoing customer relationships
- Partner with sales and operations teams to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, customer support, inside sales, sales support, account coordination, account management, order management, or a related role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:
- Material Handling Equipment
- Forklift Dealerships
- Industrial Manufacturing
- Equipment Distribution
- Heavy Equipment

- Parts and Service Operations
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with forklifts, lift truck systems, or material handling equipment
- Experience supporting customers in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with quoting, order processing, and dealer support
- Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
